Went out to a place called "Wildlife Prairie State Park" yesterday to do my walking. Got in about a mile but it was threatening rain so I stopped briefly at their gift shop. Sure enough, I came out and felt a drip or two, so got in my car and started home (about 25-30 miles). Then, the floodgates opened. Traffic on the Interstate was down to 40 - 45 mph. Got to Morton, it let up a bit and I thought I was going to get into the house without getting too wet. Ha! Just as I opened the door the clouds let loose again.
