Each year I find that I enjoy WATCHING the beauty of a pristine snow world more than PLAYING in it. But even in this old fashion winter, that is thrilling the gas company  , I have to say that if the temperature has to move from “ideal”, I have to hope it goes DOWN. I still dread the thoughts of sweat pouring off of me as I listen to the rattling click of the August locust, even as I look for another log for the fire.
While I approach the winter chores less enthusiastically each year, I guess I live in the climate where I belong.
