Another suggestion - if you do not have one already, purchase a pre-filter for your home and place it inside, just where the water enters your house.

Also, and this is very important. Purchase a reverse osmosis drinking water system (or R.O. System).

This type of water filtration system will purify your water up to 99.9% pure. It will also filter out the "bad" stuff in the water - items that I have mentioned as well as risidual chlorine.
