Really.... I just wish that a person would be allowed to perform the job that they were hired for without all of the bs. Used to work at a place that I was recognized and praised for my work by the higheruppers. That didn't bode well for my co-workers, 1 in particular that would make my life a living hell after any praise was given in a meeting in front of everyone.

It got so bad, that I went to the boss and told him thanks for the praise, but asked him to not do it in a open forum. He asked why, and I told him, being the honest person that I was... (bad move).

There is always someone who is going to stab you in the back. When I left that position, I found out that the reason this woman treated me like that was because I intimidated her. She could not control me like she did others, and I was good at my job. Their loss, not mine.....
