TWEETY PIE
Part of the 'Bugs Bunny' cast. First appeared on November 21, 1942 in 'A Tale of Two Kitties'. Tweety was first paired together with his arch-nemesis Sylvester the Cat on May 3, 1947, in the cartoon entitled 'Tweety Pie' which won an Academy Award. Usually kept in a cage and cared for by Granny and sometimes protected by Spike the watchdog. Catch-phrase is "I tawt I taw a puddy tat." Voice by Mel Blanc. ©Warner Brothers.

WOODY WOODPECKER
Politically incorrect trouble maker created by Walter Lantz. Introduced on an Andy Panda cartoon in 1940. His popularity soon led to the production of 'The Woody Woodpecker Show'. His unique laugh was his trademark. His voice first done by Mel Blanc and then Ben Hardaway; in 1952, Grace Stafford, Lantz's wife, provided the permanent voice.
