As a member of an adult site, I am very gratful for the Moderators for keeping tabs on members, new and old.

As this is an adult site, we all know that minors are not allowed. The only way that we find out that a minor has snuck into the fray is by double checking profiles, and perhaps directly questioning the member. While this is not a full-proof method, sometimes "gut feelings" come into play. So, when in doubt, ban. It is that simple. Not only does this protect the minor, but it protects the adult members of Pixies. For if minors were constantly allowed to lie about their age and become members, then we would perhaps not have Pixies. So, when someone new comes on board, and there is any doubt in our minds that this person isn't an adult, the it is our responsibility to protect our home.

doped was NOT flamed, but rather the members were protecting our home.

I fully support the ban on doped for this reason. He was given plenty of time to respond to the question of age and didn't take advantage of it. Another plus in the banned situation was that in his profile he put N/A for his birthdate. In my reasoning, this would set off alarm bells...... and again, it is better to be safe than sorry.

doped1 has also put N/A in the birthdate section of his profile. Now, I figure, that if a person wasn't a minor, and knew that as an adult, the birthdate was and is a good indication to prove that, I would certainly put it in that section.

And, I agree Lixy, we do want to encourage lurkers to join our wonderful family, but we also want the lurkers to be honest adults as well.

If doped's question was of a truly valid nature, and it appears that it was - as well as he needed an answer rather quickly (per his 2nd post) then he did indeed have plenty of time to answer the question of age.......
