Not at all. They weren’t brought up with any boogymen that would hit them with a bolt of lightening and was always thought that there was no magic to make something right. Magic only exists until you know how it works. Then it was just a mystery. So the concept of responsibility wasn’t quite so new to a kid.
Like all parents, we drew it as we built it. We always answered question but never any that weren’t asked. Because of the weird way we had brought them up, it was just kind of natural and not a lot awkwardness on either side.
(and I do know that we just got lucky.  got a couple good kids but I know it would be different if I had to do it again. [I truly believe in there not being any “magic answers”  ])
