About 10 years ago, some Aussies shared a room with me in Jasper, Alberta. We were all avid mountain bikers and they convinced me those grub things would give us energy for the bike ride . . . they tasted like eggs and I think they did give us a bit of extra energy. I still regret not asking them how they managed to get those things through customs!
