I love New Orleans. I have been there twice and I am ready to go back anytime. I love to go to the Garden District and just walk around. The houses in the GD are so pretty. I can just imagine living in one of them. Then you have the French Quarter. Just driving the small distance from the Garden District to the French Quarter is like going to a whole different world. Where the GD is quiet and nice and clean, the FQ is loud, smelly, and gaudy.
I am a big people watcher, so New Orleans is a great place for me to sit in a cafe and just watch the multitude of different people go by.
My favorite thing to do in any city that I go to is take a horse and carriage ride. The drivers are always so knowledgeable about the city and you get to see everything at a slow pace without actually having to walk lol
