Enter house. Drop bags and jacket in a heap in the hallway, allow no part of the outside world into the house with me. Immediately take off shoes.

Go straight to kitchen, grab bottle of wine, corkscrew and glass. Head for bathroom, with brief pause in living room to put on what we call "howling music" in this house...stuff I can sing along with at the top of my lungs.

Draw HOT bath, pour first glass while it's filling. Get naked. Finish first glass. Add bubble bath (to tub, not glass). Pour second glass. Get in tub. Finish second glass while singing along with whatever's on the CD of choice.

If necessary, insert aggrivated scream here.


Damn life was simpler when I lived in the states and could just beat my day out on my drum kit for an hour or so.....
