I reckon she should steer well clear, he's too confident of himself...he'll do the luring but would look after himself over anyone else, including your friend. Esp if it is his relationship with his brother at stake.

How about suggesting that your friend hands him over to Pixies for a weekend or so to help us get a real feel for the er situation she is in
