We live,on a State Highway,that is (approx)2/3mi. before the turn-
pike to the mountains & lakes.There is a self serve gas station/
store about 3/4 mi.,from me.You can almost count on the gas,
going up,a few cents/gal,before each major holiday or weekend.
People come thru here,from the southern states.Winter:Skiing,
Snowmobiling,etc.Summer:Boating,Waterskiing,motorc ycling,
Laconia Motorcycle Week,Camping,etc.We have lived here for 25+
yrs. & it's almost like clockwork. Irish
P.S.Yesterday afternoon,I went there to get gas for my lawnmower.There are 4 islands(8 pumps) & all were full!Boats,
Trucks,Cars,etc.(Rt125)
