I'd like for them (those who are in the mad process of ridding the world of this "problem") to, just once, actually spell out what the big problem with porn is! They say there are victims...they say they are the children...but they never say exactly what befalls the victims when they see a boob or a pussy! Does there head explode? Do they suddenly go out and grab all the boobs they can get their hands on before they are stopped? What? What happens to them? I know parents can't control everything that their child sees...and the argument is that children shouldn't be subjected to this type of adult entertainment...and I agree. But, they can't ban the entire industry to the consenting adult population!!!! How dare they assume to speak for me and others who may like to look at "porn"???? And...if they go after one area of it all...where does it end? What about Soap Opera's? I've seen some pretty steamy stuff on them and children could possibly tune in and watch, should they be left at home alone one day!!!!

And another thing...

The FCC has NEVER spelled out what is obscene. They say we know it when we hear it/see it! It's like tomato and tom-ah-to. What's obscene to one can be perfectly fine to another! So...we have to get into the heads of the uptight FCC members and figure what they think will be obscene???? And...if that's not bad enough...it can be obscene in one venue and not in another. Example: Oprah Winfrey talks to teens about sex...Howard Stern talks to adults about sex...Clear Channel is fined for what Howard talks about on his show (he was talking about what Oprah had on her show) and drops Howard's show from 6 stations around the country. But...the FCC won't let Howard testify in court...they just fine him now (personally) whenever something on his show is taken as obscene to those in charge of the FCC. He is bleeped unmercifully now-a-days. And...for the exact same thing said on Oprah that was said on Howard's show...she is NOT fined and NEVER will be because...get this..."She is too popular a figure and we cannot fine such an icon"! I swear...that was the reasoning! OMFG!!!

OMG Eliza...you've opened Pandora's box on this one for me! No worries hun...I'll TRY and control myself!

But just know this...our rights as American's...our right to free speech and free choice (we can turn it off or tune it out if it offends) is being challenged! Those "in charge" are assuming to speak for the masses...without ever hearing what the masses want! They, now, only listen to the complaints...and totally ignore the petitions being sent up to Washinton (oh yeah, there are petitions). And...the so called "complaints", could be a continuous stream of written complaints and phone calls from one single source/person...and they count those 100's of complaint's from one source, not as one complaint...but as 100's!

I could go on and on...but my carpal tunnel is kickin in! LOL!
