I have tried both, but I love to be the tie-er. I love the look and feel of a woman that trusts me enough to allow me to do what I want to her. As for gear, well I have soft rope, silk scarves, leather restraints, chains, and clothes pins.
I always use a safe word, or stop when she adamantly says to stop.
