I am of English, Welsh & Irish extraction. My family on my father's side (English) came to the USA in the early 1700's. During the American Revolution they were loyal to the crown and came to Lower Canada as Empire Loyalists. Some of my family is still in the USA. On my mother's side is the mix of Welsh and Irish. They came to the Dominion of Newfoundland in the late 1700 as fisherman. I and my mother actually immigrated to Canada prior to Newfoundland becoming the 10 province of Canada.
