1. I spent all morning cooking, then went to my Mother In Law's for the afternoon
2. At my MILs, I was presented with my wedding sari, several others, and all the traditioal wedding jewelery. They begged me to try one of the saris on, which initiated a 45 minute primping session as they perfected my hair, makeup, and outfit....I had 4 female family members fluttering around me telling me how beautiful I looked....and when I came out to show the rest of the 20+ person clan everyone clapped.
Mr. Osuche said I took his breath away. And I must admit,the pics are very nice.
3. The same 20+ people, plus a few more from my family, and my Sister-in-Law's S/O came to dinner at my place. Everything went off well without a hitch...food was good...company was better. We all had fun. And...strangely enough...'cause 80% of the people were the same...it felt like a totally different party.
Today was a good day....and I can leave Columbus happy. I love ALL my family...married and blood.
