Light em up!
Spawned by Lilith's thread about smoking in your car, I'm curious to know - how many of you are smokers, or former smokers? what did you do ti kick the habit?
Me, it was easy. I started smoking when i was fourteen. When I hooked with my boyfriend (who later became Mr. LAW) he said he didn't like smokers, so I put them down. I'm glad I did. he was worth it!

I swear I just had this conversation.
I gave up serious smoking when the price skyrocketed to 85 cents a pack. It was taking too much of a bite out of my allowance. ha ha
I've had a smoke now and again, but usually only at a stag or when out drinking with the guys. And even then, I pay the price voice-wise. Blech!

Never did. Don't know why I never did, but I never did. Not one. Not even when I was a deeply stupid teenager.
Right now, I just mark it up as more evidence that I'm a lucky girl...seen friends and family quit (and fail to), looks like hell. I've got nothing but respect for those who manage it.

Yup, I have had the nasty habit for 23 years. But I am for sure stopping by next year. I have great incentive too.

lonelyarmywife,
I smoked for many years, many years ago. I quit when my fiancé said that she sometimes didn’t like how my kisses tasted. Quitting was quite difficult, but well worth it.
