Jude is the patron saint of desperate/lost causes, and some say fools. And there are so many of the latter on the internet it seemed appropriate. It was also the name of my favorite character in a role playing game (Vampire the Masquerade).
30 comes from how old I was when I created/took on that name for my ID on the internet.

The "DM" bit is short for Dangermouse - my most favouritist cartoon ever! (Probably not too familiar to you guys across the pond!) Because so many other folks like him too, I picked the "383" part as it was part of both my car and motorbike registration numbers!
Shortened the original name to DM383 mainy because it took too long to log in to emails, websites etc otherwise!!
