Nope but he is a well respected man and works for the Tasmanian Cricket Association as well as being an Australian selector.

I know David Boon personally. He shared a flat with my brother Peter for a time and was best man at his wedding. His wife Pip (short for Phillipa) is great friends with Peters wife Margaret.

Also I umpired in the NTCA and seen first hand D Boon destroying the bowling. I have even given him out LBW LOL.

He is a good bloke and has never had a big head. (though reports from the shower room indicate that the lower head is of impressive dimensions)
