I was *extremely* nervous when I met my first Pixie, and it didn't go away each time I met a new one. Most people in my real life find it difficult to believe that I am shy (kind of like here) but I've developed some massive coping skills over the years because of my job. I can be the most charming person you ever knew--and you'd not have a clue I was terrified.

I've only been in this house/town for 2-1/2 years, Iowa for about 5-1/2. Southern California for 2 before that, then Kentucky for the first 27 years of my life.
