going to get a manicure and pedicure. I selected this rich shade of red and the Vietnamese owner said, "for the 4th of July." Then this lady piped up from her chair, "no that cfm red. That's for a different kind of celebrating." I just laughed and most likely blushed.

Having a great day with my wife. Went out for lunch then to see "Hancock" at the theatre; and supper tonight at a local restaurant. Now, tomorrow, it'll be a 4th of July parade in Peoria (I'm in it) and a picnic with friends. Then, together with another couple we'll go down by the Illinois River across from Peoria and watch a super fireworks display.

Sweet! So glad you added a picture. I have a Hofner 12-string; she is neglected, but I don't know how to do anything on her than strum; I can't even conceptualize fingerpicking 2 strings with one finger. Some day. Congrats!

my husband and youngest child carrying on an entire conversation by passing gas at each other. Then when my oldest child told them how gross they are, they just replied that he must be jealous that he too is not multi-lingual. Then later Mr. Lil approached me and offered to "whisper sweet nothings" in my ear.

Such is life surrounded by my rude dog boys.
