3rd Op Going under

I was terrified this time...anyone coming near me gets...'are ya gonna hurt me?'

I'd had that many needles poked at me, trying to get blood, putting drips in, i'd had enough....my body had had enough....my veins were in hiding and if found collapsed and just refused to play the game anymore.....thats why i got the picc line....but it ultimately failed....so onto the next....the central line was to be put in....hopefully in theatre so i would be blissfully unaware *sigh*

Anyway....again i'm wheeled to the theatre...noting they havent yet fixed the PUB IC USE sign *LOL*

I get wheeled into the waiting area....the anaethetist introduces himself and tells me he's gotta put a drip in to give me the knocker outer stuff....i swear i had tears and was so freaking tense i thought i'd snap.... He was sooooo damn good, i hardly felt it and i told him he's now my hero!...He also said that he would put the central line in while i was under....i told him he was definately my official hero!

He then proceeded to knock me out *LOL*

3rd Op Coming Out

Came out good again...though apparently i was extremely humorous so Bilbo keeps telling me....i cant remember dammit....but i can vaguely recall people laughing at me!

They took the pethadine off when the picc line failed and gave me a slow release patch....welcome to the world of cant stay awake and when i do my head feels like its gonna explode mingled with i'm gonna SPEW.....well fuck the patch....i ripped it off and handed it back saying i dont want that anymore, it now belongs with morphine...both of em are evil fuckers!

Anyway hopefully all is good this time....just gotta wait and see

My mom had pain patches perscribed and had the same experience...she would get really sleepy, and also very nauseous. Dr said something about the dosage perhaps being too high...but it's not like oyu can adjust the dose in a damn patch.
